"Been looking for some time for a used KTM, but ended up finding a good deal on a new 09 recently on their website. When I called, RC took good care of me. He answered all my questions and the deal was done. I drove down from NorCal to find my new bike ready, paperword done, and we had it loaded on the truck in 30 minutes. RC (sales person, and fellow off roader) exceeded my expections to get this done quickly and I very much appreciated it.

"I've had many good experiences as a customer at this dealer, from service to my old VTX 1800 to help with buying gear and parts.
Even though I don't own a Japanese bike anymore, I still go to SM Honda for most of my parts and accessory purchases. The guys in the parts department are very helpful and knowledgeable.
In fact the time I went to by my First Gear jacket, the salesman wouldn't let me take it with me because he found a problem with the zipper on a pocket, Something that may have taken me months to discover, He insisted they order a new one and I picked it up two days later.
You can try to buy things from the internet or from a warehouse, but when you get it home and it doesn't work right you'll wish you had some good advice. I'd rather spend a few more bucks and be happy on the road when I'm a hundred miles from home.

"I bought a used VT750 last week with high-mileage. I took it here and had a full service tune-up and oil change done. Meanwhile, i went in and checked out the shop inside. The sales guy was real cool, eager to help, but happy to leave you be to wander. He even helped me choose certain gear and helped fit me with it. And to top it off, he even hooked me up with a small discount. The selection of accessories is okay but not very large (typical of a small shop). The next morning my bike was ready. The service department was very thorough in inspecting the bike, and they were very honest about what "needed" to be done and what "could" be done at a later time. The labor prices were probably typical, but this place wont suck you dry on parts trying to tell you all sorts of stuff needs replacing. The final cost was a couple hundred less than the estimate they gave me (score!). I believe Sasan was the guy who worked on my bike. He knows his stuff. He gave me a good rundown on the bikes condition and everything he did to it. And as far as i'm concerned, he's my go-to guy in the future. Honesty and friendliness goes a long way."

"Since I've been looking to buy my first bike when I got out the Marines 2 1/2 yrs ago, I walked right in to Santa Monica Honda Ktm and feel in love with a 2008 Honda 600 RR. In 15 mins from the help of Scott and the GM Tom we had a deal that I could not refuse. They directed me to parts where Ozzy and the staff to care of me. " I Have had years of good experiences with the parts department. The staff is very friendly and knowledgeable.
I often order parts through the shop and usually get them faster than i would get from online stores. Obviously the basic stuff is in the shelf. When ordering the communication has always been great, keep me up to date with deliveries and accurately predict the times.."

" Spend a bit of time in there over the last few weeks preparing for a big trip and the service has been great.
Firstly,the service department kept on meeting my very tight deadlines and were helpful in explaining exactly what was getting done. They even called me before each part they were going to change to make sure i could afford it and was cool with what was going on.
Secondly,the parts department were incredibly helpful. Alex aka cheezy actually took the time to take me through the store and tell me exactly what i do and don't need for my trip. Then went out of his way to make sure i had the right equipment at the right price. Definitely someone i would deal with again. "
